Shelly Sprague has led the kind of life that renders even a hit TV show merely a footnote. Although best-known as Celebrity Rehab's no-nonsense resident technician (and confiscator of cel phones and adult sundries), Shelly is herself a recovering alcoholic and addict whose life in sobriety is defined by her dedication to helping others avoid or escape the same plight. On and offscreen, she wins the respect of her patients by her sincerity and candor. Shelly has been there and done that: from mental health patient to mental health worker, plus everything in between; including exotic dancer, hairdresser, singer, teacher's aide, wife and mother.

In the next segment, Dave welcomes Astrophysicist Beth Biller to the show. Dave and Todd explore black holes, big bang theory, aliens and the many wonders of the cosmos with punk rock astrophysicist Beth Biller. Beth closes out the show with a flurry of fire and belly dancing that is not to be missed.

Don LaFontaine
For more than 25 years, LaFontaine has cemented his position as the
"King of Voice-overs".  He has worked for NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, UPN and
Cartoon Network, and by conservative estimates he has voiced hundreds of
thousands of television and radio spots. At last count, he has worked
on nearly 5,000 films, including appearances as the in-show announcer for the
Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and The Academy Awards. Based on contracts
signed, he has the reputation of being perhaps the single busiest actor in the
history of SAG.

 

MEIKO
Meiko is one of the most promising singer-songwriters to emerge from
the Los Angeles music scene in recent years. Her influences
include artists as diverse as Patty Griffin, Sade and Portishead.
Meiko has managed to create songs of sweet disquiet that are all
her own. In early 2007, Meiko performed at the Sundance Film
Festival and caught the ear of Paste Magazine editor Josh
Jackson, who boldly declared her a "big success story".
